I have worked as a professional journalist for 22 years, during which time I have contributed to numerous publications including the Financial Times, Guardian, Independent, Prospect, Sunday Telegraph and the Sunday Times. My book on global finance, Cowardly Capitalism (Wiley, 2001), was recommended by the Baker Library of Harvard Business School . I also contributed a chapter to Cultural Difference, Media Memories: Anglo-American Images of Japan (Cassell, 1997). I am working on a book on contemporary society's unease with popular prosperity.
